Frequently Asked Questions
We want every swimmer and parent to feel completely confident and prepared before diving in. Here you'll find everything you need to know about our private lessons, scheduling, and safety protocols to ensure a smooth start to your swimming journey.
What age can my child start swim lessons?
We love welcoming little ones as young as 6 months! For our tiny swimmers under 3, we invite you to share this special bonding time by joining them in the pool.
When you sign your 6-35 month old child up, a parent or guardian will be expected to enter the water with them for their safety and comfort. Our lessons follow the American Red-Cross curriculum for Parent Tot lessons rather than a survival curriculum.
How long are lessons?
Our sessions are usually 30 minutes. If your heart is set on more water time, you're welcome to pair two slots for an hour, though we suggest limiting little ones under 5 to one lesson per day. This extended choice is a wonderful way for older swimmers to comfortably build their skills and stamina.
Do you offer group lessons?
We absolutely love teaching friends and siblings together! If your little ones share similar skills and ages, they are invited to learn side-by-side. Just start your booking as a private session, then contact us to add any other swimmers to your lesson. Up to 3 additional swimmers can be added for a fee of $6.25 per swimmer per lesson.
Where are the lessons located?
Lessons are at a private pool in Redlands, California, near Kimberly Elementary. When you book, you'll receive an email or text with the exact address.
We may be able to arrange a session at your home, schedule permitting. However, a travel fee will be applied. Contact us if you are interested in lessons at your home.
Is prior swimming experience required?
Not at all! We cater to all skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced swimmers looking to refine their technique and build endurance.
What protocols are in place for safety?
Safety is our priority. Our head instructor, Abby, is American Red Cross certified, and lessons are conducted with constant supervision and age-appropriate drills.
